WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN TUMBLING CLASSES AND GYMNASTICS CLASSES?

Tumbling is Floor Only, Cartwheels, Back Bends, Walk Overs, Round Offs,  Back Handsprings, etc.


Gymnastics is 

Floor,  Bars, Balance Beam, Vault for Girls.


Floor, Vault, Parallel Bars, High Bar, Rings, Pommel Horse for Boys.

WHAT DOES IT COST TO BE ON A WAITING LIST?

There is No Charge to be on a Waiting List.

You are only charged for Classes you Enroll in.

HOW DO I PAY FOR CLASSES?

August- May All  payments are made Monthly Online through an Auto Draft of  your Online Account. 

June-July all payments are made by Check Or Cash upfront When you register.. 

Summer Registration is Not Done Online. It is done on Paper Forms.

August- May, You are Required to enter a Credit Card or Checking Account when you fill out the Online  Registration Form.


The Registration Fee and First Month's Tuition are Auto Drafted from your checking account or credit card WHEN you first Enroll in a class.


After that all Class Tuition is paid Monthly by Auto Draft of  a Checking Account or Credit Card.


If you do Not want to be Drafted Monthly you can pay for 1/2 or Full year in Advance in Sept. and Jan. See Full Details on Advance Payments  and DECLINED DRAFTS in our Rules and Policies #1 And on the PAYMENTS Page.

CAN I WATCH MY CHILD IN CLASS?

Yes.

You may  watch your child from our Upstairs Observation Area. 

Your child Waits With You upstairs before class and will be Called for Class over the Intercom Upstairs. 

They meet their instructor at the half door in the hall by the Girls Bathroom.

Classes will Exit through the Lobby.

CAN SOMEONE ELSE REGISTER MY CHILD FOR ME?

No.

All Registrations must be done and Signed by a Parent or Legal Guardian Only whether done Online (Aug.-May) or by Paper Forms (June-July).


Any registration done by anyone other than a Parent or Legal Guardian will be VOID and the child will Not be registered or enrolled in our program.

CAN MY CHILD TAKE A MAKE UP CLASS IF THEY ARE ABSENT?

August- May-Makeup Classes are Never Guaranteed.

AUGUST-MAY- If there is a class of the same level as your child's class that is Not Full you can make up in that class. Check with the Office about those classes. 

We also offer periodic weekend make ups for days we are closed. Anyone that needs a make up class may attend those make ups. 

Everyone has to Sign Up for the Weekend Make Ups.

HOW CAN I TALK TO MY CHILD'S INSTRUCTOR?

Instructors are almost always going straight to teach another class when they dismiss your child's class and have no time to talk then.

If you would like to talk to an Instructor the best way is to give a Note to the Office with your name, your child's name and your phone number. The Office will give him or her your note and they will Contact You as soon as they can.

WHERE DO I PARK?

 All vehicles must park in Designated Parking spaces on the Front and Side of the building.

Parking is Not Allowed on the Street. 


You may Also Park in the Gravel Field in Front of the Gym but please only enter and exit from the street side. We have an underground sprinkler system that runs along the parking lot edge of the field and it will break if driven over. 


***No Parking is Allowed Under the Covered Drive Through for Any Reason or for Any Amount of Time Even If You Are In The Car.***

The Cars Must be able to Keep Moving.

This area is for Drop Off and Pick Up Only.  It is Not a Carpool Line.

You can always Park in a Parking Space and Come In and Get Your Child.


*Please Drive Very Slowly in the parking lot and Always Watch for Children coming in and out of the building and in the parking lot. 

CAN MY CHILD TAKE PRIVATE LESSONS?

Yes.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MY CHILD BEFORE AND AFTER CLASS?

You are. 

The Gym is not responsible for students before and after class. Please Be On Time to Pick Your Child Up. 


If your child Cannot wait upstairs Alone and when their class is called to come downstairs to meet the instructor, you need to Stay with them.


If you are going to be Late picking your child up, Call the Office so that they can find your child and tell them.


 *Tell your child to Wait on You INSIDE the building. NEVER let them Wait Outside.


*PRESCHOOL PARENTS should Not Leave the Building During Their Child's Class.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY CHILD'S CLASS DAY/TIME?

August- May All Class Changes must be made through the Office,  Never through an Instructor. 

Contact the Office if you want to change classes. 

June- July  See the Information about Summer Class Changes on the 

Class & Prices page.


August- May- If you see an open class online that you want to change to and enroll in it you must Notify the Office right away to drop your old class  to avoid  being charged for Both classes. 

You Cannot Drop a class Online Yourself.

HOW DO I WITHDRAW MY CHILD FROM CLASS?

 You must give a Two Week notice In Writing. An Email will serve as a written notice. You will owe for the week you give written notice And for the following two weeks.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE GYM CLOSES FOR BAD WEATHER OR AN EMERGENCY?

We try to follow what the schools do in severe weather. 

We will post on our Website, Facebook and Instagram if we are Closing or not.

If we do not have phone service or electricity someone will post from another location.  

Always check our Website First and Often.

All Scheduled Closings for Aug.-May are on the Gym Calendar on the Home& Calendar page of this website.

HOW DOES THE GYM COMMUNICATE WITH PARENTS?

EMAIL AND WEBSITE.

We occasionally send Notes home with students but

We send Frequent Mass EMAILS with information that pertains to all of you.

To make our Emails easy to spot "Courthouse Gymnastics" is in the Subject and in our Email Address of Every Email. You should check for and read Emails from us Often.


You Can Also Log In your online account and click on the Menu at the top right of the page and choose MESSAGES to See All Recent Emails sent to you.


Our WEBSITE is also a Very Important method of Communication with you.

The Gym Calendar has All Important Dates and Events on it.

It also has this YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED page with the most common questions asked of us.

Check our Website often. 


With an average of 600-800 students that we teach every week these are the most efficient methods of communication we can use.



WHAT IS THE END OF YEAR EXHIBITION FOR GYMNASTICS CLASSES?

It is a time when parents and family come to watch the students show off what they have learned.

DO YOU OFFER COMPETITIVE TEAMS?

 Yes.

We have competitive gymnastics teams for Girls, 

Levels 1-10.

We have competitive gymnastics teams for Boys, 

Levels 4-10.

Our Teams are chosen by instructor recommendation and Coach evaluation from our Gymnastics classes once a year.
